Celebrate Canada

As many of you know, tomorrow is Canada Day, a wonderful excuse to don white and red, enjoy a fireworks show and celebrate the freedom and joy that comes from living in this great country.

If you're in the mood to do your part for the Canadian economy, I've rounded up some oh so Canadian items. Feel free to add your own in the comments!

As you know, I love baby rompers and I am very tempted to add this quintessential Canadian item to Henry's wardrobe. I think it would be the perfect outfit for a little photo shoot at the cottage this summer!

ROOTS t-shirt, $
I usually shy away from graphic t-shirts, both for myself and for my baby, but I would make an exception for this adorable Roots tee.

While I've hated canoeing since the age of 10, there is nothing more Canadian than canoeing on a lake which makes this handcrafted HBC edition really stand out! The market for this item is clearly quite small, I would love to know how many of these they sell a year.

Nadege makes the best macarons in the city (in my opinion!) and while they certainly aren't cheap, I promise that these two bites are worth the expense. What a delicious way to celebrate Canada's birthday!
Happy Canada Day to you all!

Enjoy the day off work, I know I will…. oh wait, there are no days off from mommy hood!
