Top Five Favourite Apps

I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend! Our weekend was all about family time, as it usually is these days and we had a great time celebrating Mike's first Father's Day on Sunday. Henry was just so excited to celebrate Daddy that he was up every two hours on both Saturday and Sunday nights. Fingers crossed he sleeps a bit better tonight, I am exhausted!

I thought it might be fun to do a round-up of some of my favourite iPhone apps. I have always loved being connected with my phone but since having Henry, I am constantly on it as it gives me something to do while feeding him.

Love using this app to share snaps of Henry, to keep up with what my friends are doing and to get inspiration from some of my favourite bloggers.

I am working hard on improving my picture taking skills and while I stay have a ways to go, this filter helps my mediocre pictures pop.

I just read about this app on another blog and after spending some time on it, I think it is fantastic! It provides easy to follow tutorials on how to snap amazing photos of your baby. Since I have a hardly used Canon camera (see point above), this is especially applicable for me.

This app was recommended to me by a fellow new mom and it has given me some insight on why Henry has been a bit difficult over the past few days - he is hitting some new milestones! He is in the middle of "patterns" week which basically means he wants to be held by only his Mommy. As much as I love cuddling him, I am trying to encourage him to get used to other people. Any tips or do I just need to deal with it?

I love schedules so it is no surprise that I've been trying to find one that works for Henry since about week four. I haven't found the perfect one and I'm instead doing a bit of a hybrid sleep training / scheduling program using Moms on Call, Babyswise and the Baby Whisperer. The Moms on Call app provides basic tips and schedule reminders, basically all a tired new Mom needs.

Anyone have any favourite apps to share? I'm always looking for new ones!
