Back from vacay!

I'm so sorry for being totally radio silent over the last couple of weeks. We just spend a week in Northwestern Ontario at our family cottage (camp as it is called way up north!) and it was really nice to spend some time off the grid. This was our first time travelling with Henry and while it was amazing, it was also a ton of work.

Henry continues to be a dream baby and basically slept whenever we were in a moving airplane or car. The fresh air seemed to agree with him as he even slept in until 7:30 a couple of morning, we couldn't believe it!

Get ready for a massive photo dump from our trip!

At the airport, not pictured is our mountain of gear!
H loved riding in his new umbrella stroller!
Looking cute on his play mat!
It was a touch chilly!
Henry has a blowout and I forgot to pack an extra outfit... hence the oversized t-shirt!
We took a few hikes while we were away, isn't the lake stunning?
Now that we're back it feels like I need to spend some time getting myself back on track. We have a lot coming up in the next month including Henry's baptism, a friend's wedding / our first time leaving Henry overnight and a Mom's Night Out that I'm planning with some of my new mom friends!

I've been pretty good with my diet but I feel like I really didn't move as much at the cottage as I should have. Taking a few days off made this afternoon's five mile run a challenge but I'm so proud of myself for doing it.

The end of vacation is always a great motivator to push a little harder at the gym, eat a little healthier and finally deal with the neat paper piles on my dining room table. I promise to get to all of it, just once I deal with the MOUNTAIN of laundry.

I have a few posts planned this week so check back, I promise to not leave you hanging again!

  2. Looks beautiful. I live in the US and although I've been many places in Europe and to SE Asia, I've never been to Canada. How sad is that? I need to remedy that soon.
