On my "workspace"

Before I stayed home full-time a little bit of clutter never bothered me. I could ignore a stay sock or  a pile of recycling until the weekend but now even the slightest out of place object drives me crazy. While part of it may be due to the fact that we have so much more stuff, I think another part is that our home is now my workspace.

No one likes office clutter so why would I want my at home workspace to be cluttered? This has been a bit of a sticking point with my husband who tends to leave things around the house. He's the king of  setting things down wherever and just leaving them there. I can't handle it and this morning I went into a full cleaning frenzy.

Our house isn't very big which means we spend 99% of our time in the kitchen, dining room and family room. I take pride in keeping this area tidy and every night I make a point to put the toys away (there are so many!), spray down the counters and put the bottles away.

Eventually I would love to create a little space in the house, just for me. It doesn't need to be huge but it must have a door! Ideally the space would be filled of the gold touches that I just couldn't make work in Henry's nursery. I'm adding the below office to my "lust list".

Can any other moms relate to this?
