Fitness Fix: 30 minute workouts

These days I am all about whatever work out will torch the most calories in the shortest amount of time. Sometimes I just have 30 minutes to break a sweat and I like to make every minute count. On these days I follow a workout so that I can't cheat out on any reps or lallygag around the gym, no time for that!

I wanted to share a few of my favourite quickie workouts, including one that still has me hurting 3 days later.

Barry's Bootcamp - this treadmill / strength interval class is all the rage in NYC and combines sprints with quick circuits of weights for maximum burn. This workout is HARD as you keep moving the entire time. I did it at the gym earlier this week and was dripping in sweat, it was awesome!

Popsugar workout - This circuit combines cardio and strength and requires almost no equipment, making it a great nap time workout. I'm way too lazy to work out while Henry naps but like to have these circuits handy, just in case inspiration strikes!

Treadmill circuit - Getting back into running after pregnancy was a bit of a challenge for me, especially since I felt stuck on the treadmill since I needed childcare. A great way for me to bust the boredom was to do circuit workouts / intervals that vary speed and incline. There are tons of options out there, this one is one of my favourites!
