Hi friends!

I'm so sorry for my unintentional break from blogging. I have felt stretched over the past month - maybe it's because Henry is starting to be mobile, maybe it's because I'm home all day and notice all the little things or maybe it's because winter is coming. Whatever the reason, I'm committed to kicking my funk to the curb and being the best fair-weather blogger that I can!

So, what's new? Obviously the most exciting changes all have to do with sweet baby Henry. Our baby boy is 7 months old, almost 20 lb and growing like a weed. He is hitting all his milestones and is just the happiest little guy, I love being his mommy.

Long walks in the Uppa are a fave!
In addition to all the sweet things, there is no denying that being a mom is HARD. I especially find it hard with my husband's intense work / travel schedule but really, the days are long no matter how you slice it. Henry challenges me daily but there is no place I would rather be than home with him, I'm so thankful for my one year of maternity leave.

Molly and Henry are BFF's
On the "banish my mummy tummy" front, I've been doing my best to kick my butt at the gym, despite dealing with sleep training and a nagging hip injury. My body doesn't seem to love running these days so I've been swapping the treadmill for the elliptical and only taking Henry out in the BOB twice a week. My weekly goal is to hit the gym 5 - 6 days a week and to eat "clean" as much as possible.

Hank loves snoozing in the BOB!
I've been having some stomach issues so I know my diet could be cleaned up and that's something I plan on focusing on through the holiday season. It's so easy to sip that extra glass of wine or fill up on cheese and while it's delicious, it really wrecks havoc on my digestive system.

Who says you can't eat out with a baby?
On a lighter note, I can't wait to celebrate Henry's first Christmas! I plan on going all out (of course!) and plan to share some of my favourite picks on the blog.

I promise to get back to posting more regularly!
